Q. Does University of Chicago Press still offer a course in editing? A friend of mine took an editing course from the press years ago. She now does freelance editing from her home, which is something I’d like to explore. I’d appreciate any formal training courses you could recommend. My kids and I thank you for your help.
A. The press doesn’t offer any classes, but the University of Chicago does, through the Editing Certificate program at the Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies.
