Marking individual letters in italics gets to be a pain (I know of a trademark that's partly uppercase roman and partly lowercase italic, and I hate to use it anywhere). I'd choose the uppercase letters as the least of the evils. Could you spell out the term as a list? Something like this: The

Hard to say without specifics, but offhand no caps. In my experience this is much more of a political decision than an editorial one. Everybody wants to be an Uppercase Team! If you have cute names for all your teams then by all means uppercase them and pray nobody outside the company ever sees
