With a straightforward and intuitive interface, The Chicago Manual of Style Online makes finding the information you need easy. Just log in with your user name and password, and you can search or scroll through the entire contents of the Manual. There are several ways to search the Manual. You can take the traditional approach and go to the Table of Contents, which provides links to all the chapters and paragraphs. You can type your query in the search box at the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This search, powered by Google, will look for both single words and phrases—no quotation marks required. You can also search by paragraph number. Your search results are returned in order of relevance. Receive results from the Manual, your own Notes and Style Sheets, and the Q&A, or limit results to just one of these components. |
